Job Description:

• We’re looking for smart individuals to perform a wide range of DevOps activities, including cloud, system, and network administration for our organization.
• The role requires excellent analytical, problem-solving, and logical thinking skills.
• Responsibilities include supporting LAN and WiFi networks, configuring and maintaining firewalls, interfacing with ISPs, maintaining VPN systems, and managing active directory infrastructure.
• You will maintain, upgrade, and provision workstations, troubleshoot performance and software issues, and contribute to IT and security compliance requirements within the organization.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing and administering a wide range of AWS services.
• Support the creation and documentation of AWS architecture and help provision infrastructure.
• Monitor and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises servers.
• Participate in the development and maintenance of monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure application reliability and performance.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to application deployment, performance, and security.
• Help design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and efficient deployment of applications.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and cloud computing.
• Perform strong Linux administration tasks.
• Determine organizational network and computer system requirements before setup.
• Administer and maintain VPNs, DNS, Active Directory, VLANs, ACLs on network switches and routers.
• Install network hardware and software and perform upgrades and repairs as needed.
• Maintain network and computer system security, ensuring all systems operate correctly.
• Add users to the network and manage/update security permissions.
• Ensure employees' workstations are efficient and connected to the central network.
• Engage in regular network troubleshooting and resolve connectivity issues.
• Monitor the system daily and respond to security or usability concerns immediately.
• Administrate infrastructure, including firewalls, databases, malware protection software, and other processes.
• Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems, adhering to company policies.

Skills:

Required:

• Good working knowledge of Linux and Linux concepts.
• Strong knowledge of networks, gateways, DNS, DHCP, WAN, etc.
• Experience with OS installation (Windows, MacOSX, Linux - Ubuntu).
• Ability to troubleshoot workstation issues on Linux, Windows, and Mac OS.
• Debug and troubleshoot WiFi connectivity issues.
• Basic understanding of Active Directory.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• Good working knowledge of Linux and Linux concepts.
• Basic understanding of DevOps concepts, CI/CD pipelines, and version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, JavaScript).
• Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Advanced knowledge of networking, subnets, VPNs, routing, and firewall configuration.

Bonus:

• Basic knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Expert networking and monitoring knowledge.
• Advanced knowledge of Active Directory and federated authentication.
• DevOps knowledge, including tools like Jenkins and CI/CD pipelines.
