• Type: Full-time, in-office internship
• Location: Bengaluru office

About the Role

• Position: Technical Writer Intern
• Responsible for creating high-quality documentation and resources for developers and customers
• Work closely with product managers, engineers, and the customer success team

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain technical documentation: user guides, how-to guides, integration guides, FAQs, and release notes
• Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer success teams to document new features
• Review, update, and improve existing content for clarity and accuracy
• Enhance documentation with visuals such as screenshots and short GIFs
• Ensure consistency with the HackerRank Documentation Style Guide

What You Bring

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a Master's degree in English, Journalism, or related field
• Bonus: Experience with blog writing, documentation, or open-source contributions
• Bonus: Familiarity with documentation tools, project management tools (e.g., Jira, Linear), and visual content tools (e.g., Camtasia, ScreenStudio)
