Job Purpose

The GDS Cyber Managed Services team is responsible for implementing and operating a suite of technologies, processes, and practices aimed at protecting computers, networks, programs, and data from unauthorized access, changes, or destruction. The team is divided into three main service categories:

• Threat Detection and Response
• Identity and Access Management
• Threat Exposure Management

Qualification

To qualify for this role, candidates must have one of the following degrees:

• Graduates / BCA (Cyber/Information Security)
• BSc (Computer Science)
• BE / BTech (Computer Science/Cyber Security)
• MCA (Cyber/Information Security)

Additional qualifications include:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and security concepts

Skills Needed

• Knowledge of Windows, Linux, UNIX, or other major operating systems
• Understanding of TCP/IP, OSI layer concepts, networking, and security fundamentals
• Up-to-date awareness of the latest cybersecurity trends
• Experience with scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Java, Perl) is a plus
