Role & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and deploy scalable components for Bright's Smart Banking Platform using Django/Python
• Develop smart algorithms and subsystems for lending and financial communications
• Design quick and simple solutions to complex engineering problems

Required Skills

• Generate actionable insights to drive operational decisions and improve marketing efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop marketing and communications plans
• Conduct periodic and ad-hoc analysis across user acquisition activities
• Make strategic recommendations on marketing channel investments
• Enhance team’s data skills and promote the use of in-house data tools
• Hands-on experience with SQL
• Strong analytical skills

Preferred Skill Set

• Strong first principles problem-solving ability
• Experience with integration and development of REST services using frameworks like Django or Node.js
• Proficiency in algorithms and data structures
• Experience in mentoring, code and design reviews, technical talks, and teaching
• Experience with Python-based frameworks
• Experience with relational or NoSQL databases at scale
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Proven excellence in competitive programming
