Branch International Hiring ML Engineer Intern 2025 | Remote

Responsibilities

• Build out functionality for existing and new product lines and platforms such as credit, customer success, fraud, etc.
• Integrate and work with various third-party systems, including Taktile, credit bureaus, and AWS.

Qualifications

• Experience building ML applications that go beyond toy projects, preferably applications with real users or an open-source project.
• Solid foundation in computer science fundamentals, ML systems, and data storage.
• Proficiency with various flavors of Unix and commonly used command-line utilities.
• Proficiency with at least one mainstream language like Python, Ruby, or Java.
• Highly entrepreneurial mindset with the initiative to solve problems proactively and a passion for starting or contributing to meaningful projects.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills, understanding that startups thrive on teamwork.
• Excitement about working in a distributed team, learning from global teammates, and contributing to a dynamic company environment.
